I wanted to feedback on a fantastic experience that my son and I had at the Central Middlesex Urgent Care centre on Wednesday the 13th May 2015. The staff on duty, including the receptionist, radiographer, nurse practitioner and doctor were absolutely brilliant. They all displayed positive attitudes and really helped to make both myself and 13 year old boy feel completely confident in the service provided. Special mention must go to the nurse practitioner and Doctor , for their expertise and high level of engagement with pt and dad when treating my sons fractured finger and answering our questions.

Great service from the moment I walked in. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and made me feel comfortable, my consult did not feel rushed but like everyone genuinely cared about getting the right result. I was seen very quickly initially, overall the waiting time seemed fair with the amount of patients. The level of care administrated was well worth the wait. Thank you.

I had a seizure today as i got epilepsy and the reception stuff treated me well but when i was called by Doctor at 22:15pm and they asked me what was my problem and i explained to the Doctor that look how i am shaking and i had a seizure today and got headeache who is not going away from 11am till now and i tried Naproxen and Paracetamol but still the same, Do you wanna know what Doctor asked me after i explained everything?? The Doctor asked me, Where you from and how long/months you been in this Country?! I can not belive it ; my eyes all red from seizure and headeache of epilepsy and What these questions has to do how many months i been in this country or where i am from?!!! In fact i am British and i been in this country since 1995 and maybe the Doctor thought something else or did not want to check me at all as many times in this Hospital same things happened before. Than after those stranger question the Doctor told me 'Sorry i can not do anything for you' go to Northwick park hospital or St Mary's Hospital . After all that long waiting as A & E everyone wait long is normal but when i was called that's all the Doctor told me and asked me?! I will Complain and i will not leave this as the reception stuff saw me very well how i was!

The place was not busy yet nearly 3hours to get a bandage changed nurse was wearing jeans which didn't look professional a patient asked how long the wait would be the nurse replied because it's a Monday and we are short of staff what kind of a response is that ☹️☹️☹️☹️

I came in with my 2 week old baby who was suffering with sticky eyes they left me waiting 3.5 hours until my partner came to meet me from work and asked them how could they keep a newborn waiting so long besides that they didn't seem to care although 111 had returned my call and made the decision for me to go there. The nurse done my babies temp check although it was 37.4 I was not made aware, the nurse said it was fine then when I went in and saw the dr they was so unprofessional and didn't know what they were talking about at all the doctor then just decided to call Northwick Park and transfer me there when the receptionist who btw sat all evening on YouTube brang me the transfer letter I opened it and the dr had written 3 parts of information incorrectly I then said this and they just scribbled it out again super unprofessional the same receptionist who sat at the computer on YouTube then says to me infront of other patients we have had to transfer you to social services I then broke down and kept saying why I haven't done nothing to my baby and the receptionist then says well you have to discuss this with the dr then they come back to tell me that's the wrong information there transfering you to the HV I was so angry at this point it was now 11pm I'm also very disturbed that the other receptionist who checked me in and took down my child's details assumed my child was white British when my child is white black Caribbean my child was in the car seat the receptionist didn't even see her or ask me again just assumptions was made I then left and went to Northwick Park by midnight and didn't leave until 4.30am and they gave me eye drops not to mention the same ones Middlesex could have given to me or I could have purchased over the counter! I had such a traumatic birth experience not to mention i am still healing and was so unwell to then have to go through this 2 weeks later with my newborn and have no support what so ever it's appaling for the NHS and I would appreciate this to go further.

Last Saturday I arrived with clotted blood down my face in a state of shock. At reception their database had none of the correct contact details for my address or GP and when given a piece of paper from a GP prescription I was simply asked what is this? In shock, I kicked up a fuss but was told I would not be treated by non-medical staff. This is no way to treat someone with a clear need for medical treatment; I had to return home to collect my Oystercard to then seek treatment at UCLH for suspected skull and jaw fractures

I visited the centre due to an issue with my back. I had to wait for approximately 30 minutes for the initial assessment and about 1.5 hours to see a nurse practitioner. Yes that seems like a long time, but what else can I expect given that it was relatively busy. I was pleased with how my case was handled and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Waiting for more than 4 hours to be seen by a doctor is unbelievable. I have chest pains and swollen tonsils and could swallow properly and they stil don't consider this an emergency. Not to mention I haven't been able to eat for the last 24 hours because of this swollen neck. Rubish treatement of the people waiting.

My boy was very sick with a chest infection. I was quickly helped by a receptionist who was also very friendly and approachable. Once inside (my son was seen very quickly) they had to call an ambulance which was also very quick. All in all I felt very confident with the care he received.

I visited the centre at around 9am on a Sunday, concerned I may have injured my neck in the gym. There were just a couple of others in the waiting area and after giving my details I was first seen to by a nurse within 15 minutes. After another short wait (perhaps 20minutes) I was called in to see the doctor who was very friendly and understanding of my concerns. I was in and out in less than an hour.

I attended the Urgent Care unit for what I thought was a sprained ankle. I was seen immediately where they assessed the urgency of my treatment, within the hour I'd had an x-ray and a short wait later saw another nurse who diagnosed a fracture and plastered my foot. Overwll everyone one was extremely helpful and careful, every stage was explained in detail so I felt reassured by their knowledge and expertise. I was extremely concerned to lose my local A&E but I feel confident in the capability of the Middlesex Urgent Care Team.

Arrived at 7:15pm. Advised that have to wait until after shift change at 8pm. At 10:15pm advised that still not known when assessment would be done. Staff report that delays are common and can be up to 10 hrs.
